Book I Of The Time-Drift Series

About

A love that will write itself into existence...

Burned out by her career, failed marriage, and fallacious friendships, Joy’s life precariously teeters on the edge of no return. When her boss gaslights her into attending an antebellum wedding in Louisiana, she quickly finds out there is more to the restored plantation than its dark history.

Feeling lost at the bank of the bayou, she’s met with a peculiar message from the Universe…

Joy’s story is far from over.

Thrown headfirst into a different Louisiana–back when gunslinging was a sport, and the color of her skin could get her killed—she’s forced to face her inner demons.

Yet when a fearless stranger saves Joy from sudden death, he teaches her that actions speak louder than words..by hook or by crook.

Praise for this book

This is a breathtaking work of magical realism that blends history, romance, and self-discovery into something both intimate and expansive. At its core, it’s a story about altruism and the painful, quiet journey of finding your purpose—but it’s told with such elegance and restraint that it feels almost timeless. The way it weaves ancestral wisdom, subtle magic, and historical texture is stunning—never heavy-handed, always intentional.

It’s cinematic, emotional, and layered—jaw-dropping one moment, gut-wrenching the next—all while remaining incredibly concise. This is the kind of book that speaks directly to the reader, lingers in your chest, and reminds you why storytelling matters.

Absolutely gorgeous. An easy must-read—and honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised if this ends up being taught in schools.

Breathtaking, captivating and wildly adventurous!! One of the best reads for me in a very long time!

Love has no bounds

This was a beautiful story of lessons, taught, learned, and loved. Such a beautifully written story. It had moments where it scared me, made me smile, made me laugh and the ending almost made me cry because JOY! Cannot wait to tap into the next part of the time drift series.
