Syreeta Benjamin is an author and visual artist/designer living in Texas. Fueled by her lifelong love for storytelling, she obtained her Master's in Creative Writing and wrote her first young adult fantasy fiction novel, Light Amidst the Shadows. 

Aside from being immersed in the pages of her second book, she often escapes into the worlds of fellow fantasy and sci-fi authors.
